ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp

Traffic management

The ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp of ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp (UOW) is committed to the provision of a safe and healthy workplace for all workers, students and visitors. To meet this commitment, the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp will endeavour to eliminate or manage risks to health and safety through the implementation of effective traffic management systems.

There are a number of roads and parking facilities throughout the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp, and due to the diverse range of animal species on our campus as well as the high number of pedestrians and heavy foot traffic throughout the year, keeping the roads safe and accessible remains a priority for the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp.

Pedestrians are asked to use the designated crossing zones and footpaths instead of roads where possible. Though the speed limits of the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp roads are designed to factor in the high pedestrian movement, there is a shared responsibility between drivers and pedestrians to stay safe. This advice extends to parking zones, wherein pedestrians are strongly advised to use the walkways provided.
