Attend sessions, visit the student success hub or chat with course experts. There will be plenty of opportunities to get all your questions answered and ensure you're making a confident decision about your studies in 2026.

What time should I arrive and where do I go when I get to the campus?

UOW Liverpool Open Day is on Saturday 26 July, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm at Civic Place. After registering, you'll receive an email with a link to build your personalised Open Day schedule.  

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before your first session or tour.

Getting there:

  • By train: Liverpool Station is a 4-minute walk from Civic Place. It’s serviced by the T2, T3, and T5 Sydney Trains lines.
  • By bus: Liverpool has one of Sydney’s first rapid bus transit systems. The main bus interchange is located at the train station. 

Civic Place is located at 50 Scott Street, Liverpool NSW. is from Terminus Street.

What can I expect on the day?

You’ll explore everything UOW Liverpool has to offer, in person! Held at Civic Place, you’ll get to meet our academics and current students, chat about the courses on offerget a taste of campus life, and soak up the vibe with food, entertainment, and activities. 

This is your best opportunity to get all your questions answered at the one place at the one time. 

 

How long are the sessions and tours? Do I need to book to attend these?

All sessions run for 30 minutes, sharing the most important information. 

While bookings aren't essential, we recommend using our planner to:

  • Lock in your sessions
  • Stay on track
  • Help us manage room capacity

Some sessions and activities are scheduled at specific times, so it’s worth planning ahead.

Is it just about courses, or will other student services be there too?

It's not just about academics! Open Day will include: 

  • Course experts to answer your questions
  • Current UOW students who'll tell you what it's like day to day
  • Student Success services
  • Info on pathway programs
  • Support for non-school leavers
  • Entertainment, activities, and free food! 

What if I have accessibility needs?

 Liverpool Civic Place is fully accessible via ramps and elevators. Plus, our team will be on hand all day to assist. 

We recommend entering Open Day via the Scott Street entrance. If driving, you should enter the carpark from Terminus Street.

Can I talk to someone about postgraduate study?

Yes! Our postgraduate coursework experts will be available to chat about your goals and options for future study at UOW.

I'm not in Year 12 yet - should I still go to Open Day?

Absolutely! Open Day is for anyone considering university—whether you're in Year 12, earlier in high school, or you've been out of school for a while. It’s a great opportunity to explore your options, get a feel for the where the campus will be, meet our staff and students, and find out what UOW has to offer.

How do I get to Civic Place and where can I park?

Civic Place is a short walk from Liverpool Station and Westfield Liverpool.

  • Parking at Westfield: for four hours free parking. Students can register at the Concierge desk (Level 1) with a Student ID for $8 all-day parking. To be eligible for this you will need to: 
    • Download and use the Westfield app
    • Park in Yellow Rooftop carpark (closest to Big W, not Event Cinemas or Myer); enter from Campbell Street or Bathurst Street
    • Visit the Concierge desk to verify parking before heading to UOW
  • Parking at Civic Place: There is a , you should enter this carpark from Terminus Street.
