A distinctive feature of the Bachelor of Business is the interdisciplinary capstone project. In your final year, you will work with students from different business specialisations on a challenge provided by an external organisation. Through this experience, you will gain insight into how areas such as finance, marketing, management and sustainability contribute to solving organisational problems.
Throughout the degree, you will apply business concepts to contemporary challenges while building experience working independently and collaboratively.
Through a balance of foundational theory and applied learning, the Bachelor of International Studies develops your understanding of how global systems operate and evolve. The degree examines the international system from multiple perspectives, including the roles of states, international organisations, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and non-state actors.
Learning is immersive and practice focused. You will apply theory through classroom simulations based on real international scenarios, representing countries, negotiating with other actors and working collaboratively to address complex global issues. You also complete a compulsory minor that strengthens intercultural communication through language study or an International Relations extension pathway.
By completing both courses, you graduate with the distinct knowledge and capabilities developed through each qualification. This broadens the range of industries and professional contexts in which you can apply your skills.
