Graduation ceremonies held from Monday, 20 April to Friday, 24 April can be watched live via the link below. The stream will start at the commencement of each ceremony.
We’re incredibly proud of our graduation ceremonies, and we can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you. This is your moment — an achievement years in the making — and we’re excited to help create a meaningful and memorable experience for you and your fellow graduates. 
You need to apply to graduate and have your eligibility confirmed before you will be invited to attend a graduation ceremony. You can view the process here. 
2026 ceremonies will be held in the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp Hall, UOW ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp campus, on the following dates:
Ceremonies will be held in Liverpool in July 2026 for graduates from UOW Liverpool and Sutherland campuses who don't attend a ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp ceremony.
Invitations will be sent to eligible students on Thursday, 30 April.
This year, UOW has partnered with Reed Events to deliver the best possible graduation experience at our UOW ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp campus.
Dates: Monday, 20 April – Friday, 24 April 2026
Location: ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp Hall, UOW ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp campus.
Ceremonies are grouped by Faculty, and during registration you’ll be able to choose your preferred ceremony for your Faculty.
Please note that once you’ve registered, you won’t be able to change to a different ceremony.
Note: Ceremonies reflect the new Faculty structure in place from the beginning of 2026.
Ceremonies for the Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health (SMAH) are now fully booked. If you're a SMAH graduate who hasn’t yet registered, you have two options:

Invitations will be sent in the week commencing 16 February to students conferred from May 2025 who have not yet attended a ceremony. Registration closes on Sunday, 15 March.  
A second round of invitations will be sent from Tuesday, 17 March to students conferred in the March 2026 conferral round. Registration closes on Sunday, 29 March.
Invitations are sent to the email address you nominated for My eQuals.
Guest ticket allocation has been increased to three (3) tickets per graduate. To make this possible, we’ve reduced the number of graduates at each ceremony and added more ceremonies overall.
Additional tickets are not available; however, all ceremonies can be watched via livestream both on and off campus.
A livestream link will be available on this website on the day of the ceremony, so your friends, family and loved ones can watch from any location.
If you have additional guests on campus on the day, we welcome them to watch the ceremony via livestream at the and join you for celebrations on the Jugglers Lawn after the ceremony.
The ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp Hall is a purpose-built venue designed specifically for formal events. This venue supports professional staging, better acoustics and lighting, and a will provide a more polished ceremony experience.
Holding ceremonies in ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp Hall allows us to keep our sporting facilities open, benefiting both students and the wider community, and ensures the rest of campus continues to operate with minimal disruption. 
The 2026 ceremonies will reflect the new School and Faculty structure which came into effect in January. 
UOW operates with three faculties as follows:
ASB is a new faculty that merges the previous faculties of Business and Law (BAL) and Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (ASSH), with some changes to school structures and discipline realignment.
When you receive your invitation to an April ceremony, you’ll have the option to defer to a November 2026 ceremony. 
We’ll do our best to accommodate your preference, however a place in the November ceremonies can't be guaranteed as students conferred in Autumn 2026 will have priority.
We strongly encourage you to attend your ceremony in April if possible as it’s the best way to secure your spot and celebrate alongside your peers. 
Absolutely! Your graduation involves two stages: the completion and conferral of your course, and an in-person graduation ceremony.
If you don’t attend a ceremony your course will still be conferred, and you’ll be able to access your digital academic documents immediately. Hard copies will be posted to you in the weeks after your conferral.

We expect each ceremony will go for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Like many other universities, UOW regularly reviews how we deliver key events and services to ensure the best possible experience for our students. We’re enhancing the graduation experience for students who studied at UOW Liverpool and Sutherland campuses by offering dedicated ceremonies in your local area in July 2026. We’ll be in touch with eligible graduates with further details soon.
Attending a ceremony in your local area allows us to create a more personal and meaningful celebration for you, your peers, your loved ones, and your academic community. We warmly encourage you to attend a ceremony in Liverpool in July, where your achievements will be recognised alongside those who shared your learning journey.
We recognise that hosting ceremonies in Liverpool is a change from the ceremony information shared in 2025. In response to your feedback, graduates who have already made plans to attend the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp ceremonies in April will still have the option to do so.
Ceremonies are grouped by Faculty, not by individual schools. During registration you’ll be able to choose your preferred ceremony for your Faculty. You may like to organise to select the same ceremony as your friends and classmates.
Please note that once you’ve registered, you won’t be able to change to a different ceremony.
To help create a more personalised and memorable graduation experience, we invite you to share a photo and a short quote that may be displayed during the celebrations.
You’ll have the option to upload these in the Reed Events Portal as part of your registration. Participation is completely optional.
Please ensure that any photo or quote you submit is appropriate for a public audience. All contributions will be reviewed, and inclusion will be at the discretion of the Graduation team. Your submission may not be included if it doesn't align with the spirit of the graduation ceremony.

If you’ve applied to graduate and are eligible to attend a ceremony, your invitation will be sent to the email address you nominate for My eQuals. Make sure to check your junk/ spam folder.

In 2026, all graduation bookings are made through our event partner, Reed Events. You will need your UOW student ID to login to the Reed Events Portal to:
You will be asked to create an account with Reed Events to facilitate payment. You will need these account details to manage your bookings and access your guest tickets.
You will be invited to register for a ceremony for the Faculty who owns the degree you have graduated from.
If you have graduated with multiple degrees you will be invited to attend the graduation ceremony for your highest degree. For example:
If you're a graduate from UOW Liverpool and Sutherland campuses, you will have the option to attend either a ceremony in Liverpool in July, or in ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp in April.

Additional tickets aren’t available; however a livestream link will be available on this website, and each ceremony will be livestreamed in the UniBar on the day.
There are two ways to receive your guest tickets.
Option 1 – During registration
In the Guest Registration section (Step 2) of the graduation booking process, you will be prompted to provide guest contact information. You may enter either your own email address or your guest’s email address. Please ensure the email address is entered correctly, as tickets will be sent to the address provided.
Option 2 – After registration, via the Reed Events App
If you would like to access your guest tickets after completing registration, you can do so via the Reed Events App.

If you have registered and paid for a ceremony and can no longer attend, your eligibility for a refund will depend on how much notice is given.
If you request a refund with less than 10 days notice, a refund will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Supporting evidence will be required showing that you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances outside of your control.
Your refund will be credited to the same payment details that were provided when registering. 
Refund enquiries can be directed to Reed Events.
Please note that once you have cancelled and received a refund, you will not be eligible to register for another April 2026 ceremony.
You and your guests need to make sure you meet Australian visa requirements. In Australia, migration advice for people who wish to enter or stay in Australia can only be provided by registered authorities.
