Overview

Embark on a unique philosophical adventure where you’ll explore the ideas, texts and questions that have shaped Western traditions of thought, while exploring and honing your own creativity. 

Throughout the Bachelor of Arts in Western Civilisation you will engage directly with major works of philosophy, literature, art, politics, science and religion in small, discussion-based classes. It’s for students who want to be challenged: to learn how to think, not what to think. 

In the , you will gain the skills to become a practicing artist; to develop practical skills in your chosen discipline, as well as the theoretical knowledge to understand how creative art functions in contemporary cultural, political and artistic environments. 

This degree also offers generous鈥�scholarship opportunities鈥痸alued at up to $20,000 per annum for up to three years, as well as an opportunity to engage in a bespoke scholarly experience.鈥�

The Ramsay Centre for Western Civilisation has generously donated funding for scholarship opportunities with a value of up to $20,000 per annum for up three (3) years.

Entry into this course is based on a combination of a written submission (essay), an interview, and academic performance.
Applicants need to have achieved the required score in a qualification equivalent to the completion of 13 years of schooling in Australia.

    Full-Time Study Load
